How many students can participate?
Optimal group size is 8-12 students for maximum engagement and skill-building. We can accommodate up to 20 students per group, or run multiple groups simultaneously if demand is higher.
What if we want multiple grade levels?
Each program covers a range of ages and grade levels. We can also run multiple programs in the same school. Contact us to discuss your school’s requirements.
Do parents need to pay, or does the school cover costs?
We collect and manage all financial and administrative aspects. Registration fees may be reimbursable through extended health benefits, as our programs are delivered by registered psychologists.
How much does registration cost for the families?
After-school program pricing is customized based on:
– Number of sessions and program length

– Additional customization requests

All programs represent significant value compared to individual counseling, providing evidence-based mental health skills to multiple students simultaneously while building preventative resilience.
Many extended health benefits cover programs run by registered psychologists.
What if students miss sessions?
We strongly recommend attending every session, as they are not recorded for privacy purposes. If a student misses a day or you know they will be unavailable for an upcoming session, please contact us to go through the options available to catch them up.
What space do you need?
A regular classroom, library space, or meeting room works well. We need seating, plus space for activities. Access to a projector/screen for video content is also required.
How do we select which students participate?
Schools use various approaches: open enrollment (first come, first served), teacher recommendations, counselor referrals, or targeted invitations to students who would benefit. We can discuss strategies during consultation.
What credentials do facilitators have?
All RESET facilitators are certified through our comprehensive training program and have certifications in psychology, counselling, social work, or education.
Are these programs like group therapy?
These programs are psychoeducational. Students aren’t asked to share personal struggles or traumatic experiences. The focus is on learning and practicing skills, not treating individual mental health concerns. However, we are happy to provide referrals for children and youth counselling or individual treatment through Kells Psychology.
